Experimenting with Metal Foil

"Heron," 12 x 6 oil and metal foil on linen panel.

I'm interested in adding other media to oil - in this case, metal foil. I sketched my composition on linen which I had mounted to panel, then I burnished composition metal foil into the image. The oil painting took place over and around the foil. When the paint is thoroughly dry I'll varnish.
